Progress, the past four weeks
Over the past four weeks, we have completed cut and fill earthworks to the site and have commenced works to connect to the existing drainage system and construct a new manhole.
Temporary traffic lights have been in operation 24 hours a day to enable our workforce to safely undertake these drainage works, and we would like to thank you for your patience and understanding despite the disruption.
Temporary traffic lights have been in operation 24 hours a day to enable our workforce to safely undertake these drainage works whilst keeping the Coast Road open to users, and we would like to thank you for your patience and understanding despite this minor disruption.
The footpath is now open as normal.
The next four weeks
We will be concentrating our efforts on completing the drainage works. We are on track to complete this section of work in the next week, meaning two-way traffic management measures will remain in place until Friday 3rd February inclusive.

Following this, we will make a start on the installation o
f land drains.
