Howard Civil Engineering’s apprenticeship programme has been a principal focus for the business since 2003 and reinforces our commitment to developing talent and innovating our business. 

Since then, we have helped to develop several dozen apprentices and give them a head start into their careers. We currently employ over twenty apprentices and are proud to have enabled a number of successful apprentices to become highly skilled individuals who now form part of the wider Howard Civil Engineering team.

We pride ourselves in taking a long-term approach towards all of our apprentices and endeavour to offer permanent positions to successful apprentices. Howard Civil Engineering measure the success of our apprenticeship programme via a series of Key Performance Indicators which include feedback from clients and partners, managers, and mentors and from Leeds City College.
