Merry Christmas from everyone at Howard Civil Engineering!
This interim newsletter is to inform you of our working hours over the festive period and also to thank you for your continued patience and understanding throughout what has been a very difficult year for most.
Howard Civil Engineering's work on the Gateway 36 development will be paused from 17:00 on Thursday 23rd December 2020 until 8:00am on Tuesday 4th January 2022 as our operatives and office staff take a well-deserved break over the Christmas period.
Most traffic management measures will be lifted on Dearne Valley Parkway throughout to facilitate high levels of traffic throughout the festive period. Both lanes on Dearne Valley Parkway will be opened, but traffic management measures will still be in place around the central reservation of the new roundabout.
Please note you will still need to reduce your speed to 40mph in this area.
We would like to thank members of the local community members who have been respectful of the traffic management measures in place and are remaining patient and understanding of why these measures are necessary.
Please note the during this Christmas period (24th December - 3rd Jan) we will be increasing maintenance of traffic management measures in place on Dearne Valley Parkway. Should you notice an emergency during this period, please call the RTS 24/7 call out number on 01724 848 246.
