Howard Civil Engineering have been awarded a contract by Barratt Homes to construct a new roundabout on the A19/A163 Junction in Barlby, nr Selby. The works will commence in September for a period of 23 weeks. 

A series of newsletters will be published to keep interested parties informed about the works. The newsletters will be published every fortnight and will provide information about the on-going works and highlight periods of potential traffic disruption in order that people affected by the works can plan their daily journeys.

For those in residence in the area, or a daily user of the A19, please be aware that in order for us to carry out the works, to maintain safety for both the general public and our workforce, temporary traffic lights will be used for periods during the works. The use of temporary traffic lights will be limited to outside of peak traffic hours. Whilst we try to minimize the disruption to the traffic, some disruption should be expected.

To complete the final roundabout surfacing and road marking works we will require to completely close the A19/A163 junction for a few nights in February 2017. A clearly signposted traffic diversion will be put in place. More details will be published ahead of time but signing up below to the newsletter will make sure that you are fully informed.
