As a Leeds-based SME, Howard Civil Engineering has a long history of supporting local causes including food banks, St Gemma’s Hospice and more.
This year, for our final #12DaysOfHCE, we are showing our support for key workers in Leeds by sponsoring an LED Christmas star on the side of the Bexley Wing at St James’ University Hospital!
Leeds Hospitals Charity’s ‘Sponsor the Sparkle’ campaign raised over £30,000 to support projects across Leeds Teaching Hospitals, and this year they are hoping to make it bigger, better, and brighter.
Leeds Teaching Hospitals are hoping to open the doors to a children’s hospital that will be the first of its kind in five years’ time. This new hospital will be designed to deliver personalised medicine to every child and young person who needs care, complete with the latest technology and the best medical equipment.
Howard Civil Engineering’s sponsorship could help Leeds Hospitals Charity turn this dream into a reality and help save the lives of children across West Yorkshire.
Codie Heneachon, Corporate Partnership Officer at Leeds Hospitals Charity, was “delighted when Howard Civil Engineering joined other local businesses to support our Sponsor the Sparkle campaign 2021. Their support will not only bring smiles to the faces of patients, staff and their families throughout the festive period but help to provide funding to support upcoming appeals such as the MND appeal and the new Leeds Children’s Hospital.
“Thank you to all the team at Howard Civil Engineering and a huge congratulations on your wonderful #12DaysOfHCE appeal.”
Throughout December, Howard Civil Engineering has spread festive cheer by donating £5,000 to a variety of charities and community groups across Yorkshire! We chose 12 different causes to help this festive period and have documented these throughout the month using the hashtag #12DaysOfHCE.
Now our 12 days are complete, we would like to wish you all a Merry Christmas and a very Happy New Year!
