On the tenth day of #12DaysofHCE, Howard Civil Engineering gave… ten pipers piping? Nope, a £500 donation to LS14 Trust!
LS14 Trust are a vital non-profit organisation that is owned and led by the community of Seacroft, Swarcliffe, and Whinmoor.
As a Seacroft-based business and a long-standing community champion, Howard Civil Engineering wholeheartedly share LS14 Trust’s vision of encouraging LS14 to become a welcome, vibrant, and well-connected community.
This Christmas, LS14 are providing activity packs for over 7,000 children and supporting hundreds of families with food parcels over the school holidays.
Howard Civil Engineering’s donation will help LS14 Trust make sure every child in Seacroft can open at least one present this Christmas.
Joanne Curtis, community development manager at LS14 Trust, said: “Thanks Howard Civil Engineering for your generous donation towards our Christmas party. The kids will love their gifts from Santa and we really do appreciate it – it’s great to see local businesses getting involved!”
Throughout December, Howard Civil Engineering is spreading festive cheer by donating £5,000 to a variety of charities and community groups across Yorkshire! We have chosen 12 different causes to help this festive period and we will be documenting these throughout the month using the hashtag #12DaysOfHCE.
