Our next donation is to the Wetherby In Support of the Elderly charity (WISE for short)! WISE works in Wetherby, and several other locations across Leeds, to help improve the all-around quality of life for those over the age of 60.

Having been in operation for more than 20 years, WISE offers a variety of services and social activities for members to take part in; line dancing, befriending, bingo & fun, their welcome cafe, information and advice for those that need it, and a whole lot more. It’s safe to say that their services are crucial in supporting older communities across West Yorkshire.

To that end, we were incredibly pleased to hand over a £400 cheque to them and show our support! Our donation will be used for a number of things, including the funding of their Christmas band for some quality entertainment, and helping to supply Christmas crackers for the charity’s festive party.

We can’t wait to see how WISE’s great work makes an impact over this season that, for many, can be a truly tough time.
