Gateway 36 Interrim Newsletter First published Friday 8th October.
This is an interrim newsletter to inform you of potential traffic disruption along Dearne Valley Parkway as part of the Gateway 36 scheme.
We would like to inform you that, commencing Saturday 16th October, a section of Dearne Valley Parkway will be closed throughout the night during weekends to enable Howard Civil Engineering to complete surfacing and white lining works to the new roundabout. Dearne Valley Parkway will be closed from Rockingham Roundabout to Shortwood Roundabout for surfacing works on weekends commencing 16th October until early November (Saturdays 9pm – 6am, Sundays 7pm – 6am). These time slots have been chosen in order to minimise disruption on Dearne Valley Parkway for daytime commuters. Please follow the diversion signs on display whilst these works are being undertaken. Should you experience or witness an out-of-hours emergency regarding the traffic management measures in place, please call RTS on 01724 848 246. We would like to thank you in advance for your continued patience and understanding as we undertake these works.
