BACKGROUND
This is our first project for our new client, Countryside Homes. Our implementation of early contractor engagement allowed us to support our clients from the outset, resulting in the program being fast-tracked.
This is Countryside Homes’ first development on the popular location of City Fields, and will feature a collection of 170 three- and four-bedroom beautiful new-build homes just twenty minutes from the centre of Wakefield. City Fields is an exciting new community of new homes and will boast green open spaces, and facilities for schools and shops.
SCOPE OF WORK
Installation of the S38 road
Installation of the S38 road and adoptable sewer to service 170 units
Precast concrete Carlow tank
For the purpose of attenuation, our works include the installation of a 610,000 litre precast concrete Carlow tank
Groundworks & plotworks
Groundworks & plotworks to 170 units which include significant piling platforms works
Water management plan
Due to the close proximity of active watercourses, a robust ‘surface water management plan’ will be implemented
Surface water drain
Over 300m of a 450-diameter surface water drain diversion to be undertaken and coordinated
