Background

Logic Leeds is the largest ever warehouse development in Leeds (361,000ft² distribution unit) and Plot M was completed in January 2019. The main contractor was Derbyshire-based Bowmer + Kirkland.

The warehouse is strategically located at the new gateway to Leeds, just half a mile west of Junction 45 of the M1. It is just one-and-a-half miles east of Leeds city centre and adjacent to the route of the East Leeds Link Road. The site has planning consent for a variety of uses including warehouse and distribution, industrial and supporting services. The consent allows for a total of 1.6 million ft² which was built specifically to the occupiers’ requirements.

Howard Civil Engineering was awarded the groundworks package which commenced in January 2018. The poor weather threw an additional challenge to our team who ultimately demobilised to remobilise in May 2018.
